5 Medical Organizations Advocate for the 20 Million

On February 2nd the leaders of five medical organizations,The American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Osteopathic Association went to Washington, DC to advocate for their patients. They urged U.S. senators to maintain affordable and meaningful coverage and access to health care for the millions of Americans who gained coverage under the current law, and the many more millions who continue to benefit from the consumer protections afforded by the ACA.
